Equipment Required: No special items required. Just have a well-maintained vehicle with good tires with air supply for lowering tire pressure
Permits Required: Yes, vehicle $20 for 7 days or Senior Pass
Communications: CB Channel 4. HAM channel 146.550 MHz (SIMP2)
Reminder to Bring: Bring meals and extra water, chairs, basic tools, shovel, camera, weather appropriate clothing, etc.
Campground information: Texas Spring CG $22 per night. First come - first serve, pit toilets, water, tables, fire pits (bring fire wood) There is a general store and saloon nearby.
